There was a time when I couldn’t leave the house without a piece of jewelry on. Then the kids arrived and I found myself not wearing bracelets, earrings and necklaces anymore because they would yank on them and cause severe pain. The kids are finally out of the toddler stages and I’m ready to start wearing jewelry again.
Most fashion magazines adorn their pages with jewel-encrusted bracelets and necklaces dripping in diamonds that are too expensive for most budgets. What’s a girl to do? Look in unexpected places and you’ll be able to adorn your skin with beautiful jewelry for under $100.
Target is one of my favorite places to shop. I’m there at least once a week buying groceries, books, toys, sundries and whatever else I can get my hands on. Target continues building relationships with trendsetting designers and bringing their unique styles to Target shoppers.
The collection from Dean Harris is simple, yet adds just the right amount of elegance any woman would crave. His designs can often be seen at Barney’s New York, selling for $1000s. Harris’ collection for Target doesn’t miss a step. This flower cuff bracelet makes me smile. With an amethyst center, the silver cuff would be a great addition to any wardrobe. Available at Target for $79.99.
Old Navy always has a surprising array of jewelry and this season is no different. Cocktail rings add that extra oomph your outfit needs sometimes. With bold colors and rhinestones, cocktail rings are fanciful and fun. This faux-gold cocktail ring on black is complex and sends my heart aflutter. Available at Old Navy for $9.50 (at this price, you can get one in every color).
Necklaces look great peaking out from behind the neckline of a white dress shirt or as the main attraction with a strapless dress. This layered pendant necklace is to die for. The honey-colored resin is reminiscent of amber and the gold-toned metal is an unexpected complement. Available at Banana Republic for $34.30 (on sale).
At Forever 21, you can buy 10 pieces of jewelry with $100 and still have some change. These wood earrings are amazing. The intricate cutouts and shapes lend to the earrings’ dashing statement. Pull your hair back in a messy bun and showoff these earrings. Available at Forever 21 for $6.80.
With these low prices, you can have a jewelry ensemble for every season. Now go out there and start shopping and saving money!
